Just
thinking .... If this were not Swahili henna ink on my body, and I had
decided to get a real permanent tattoo this size, why would it have been
so culturally unacceptable? When it's my body and my life, And When
Tribes all over the world still use tribal marks and body art to
represent their identity. Are we such a product of our environment that
it's impossible to look outside your own social and culturally imposed
bubble and look outside the box? Are such judgmental stereotypes what
could be keeping African Men and Women back from living out their own
truth? Who taught you who you are today? Or did you seek and find
yourself on your own? Are you happy with what you have become? WHY?
Because you are accepted in society or in your immediate family? Is that
truly the height of personal acceptance and life calling? What will
happen if you move to NY or London, where most people have their own
identity, and anything goes, since people express theirselves through
their look. Would you be the same person you are today or would you
change yourself or your appearance to blend into what you see around
you? Are we humans actually Chameleons? Would my hair or my skin color
or my height or my weight define what kind of person I am or whats in my
Heart, or if I Love God? And care about people? Or if I'm honest? Or
respectful? Don't you think that's shallow? When there are religious
leaders, priests and pastors out there who are committing the height of
evil, Yet one would easily assume he is holy or clean or honest, because
he looks that way. Some ladies don't even their own husbands that live
in their own home, because they never looked beyond the surface. Some
men married the neighborhood jumpoff, but she looks "decent" and acts
"normal" around them as she carries out her "normal" wife duties, so
he'd never think otherwise. Remember this guys, Satan is the author of
confusion and deception. Don't judge someone based on their looks. Some
have eyes that see but are Blind.Follow
No cause for alarm though, it is just swahili henna and will wear off in due time. This is how she looks though;
