She was even appointed ambassador of the campaign and today, Standard Digital Entertainment (SDE) reports that she decided to create awareness by releasing a single dubbed One Touch as part of the Project Embrace where she is the ambassador. it is a song that is not only emotional but one that instills a sense of hope.
According to SDE, Wahu explained that using her music as a way of communicating to the audience has a great impact because it helps people understand that Diabetes is not a life sentence. The rise in Diabetes cases has raised a lot of concern and recent statistics show that one in every 20 Kenyans is diabetic and that more than 11 million cases of diabetes go undiagnosed in Africa.
