Dancehall superstar Swabir Mohammed who is mostly popular by his stage name Redsan is set to share the stage with some of the biggest names in Africa’s Music industry including  the talented P-Square, South Africa’s Mafikizolo,Mr Vegas,Fally Ipupa among others. Redsan has risen to become a King of dancehall not only in Kenya but even across borders. He is one of those Kenyan artistes who have sucvcessfully built their names all over Africa. He started off small with singles such as Julie but when he started growing musically, he did not stop and in no time, he set himself apart as one of the very best dancehall names from Kenya. He was recently signed to Michael Jackson’s record label- Sony Entertainment and has done massive collabos with international stars including Demarco and very recently, a yet to be released single with one of the Brick and Lace sisters. His club banger badder than most remains as one of the biggest dancehall hits ever done and one of the most popular songs this year.
It is a sign that Kenyan Music is finally getting recognition worldwide and not only are our musicians touring other countries, they get the chance to perform in events across the world. Leading Boy band Sauti Sol recently headlined Malawi’s Lake of Stars Festival and this goes to show that we have good music right here in Kenya.
