This year, Kisima Awards will be bigger and better. Last year, the winner
of the day whisked away 1 million. The lucky man was none other than Juliani.
Now, the awards’
secretariat has announced that the overall winner will get a cash prize of Ksh.
2 million.
This amount is a
huge incentive that will motivate artists to submit their forms. Each artiste
will want to scoop some amount of money. Kisima aims at celebrating and
rewarding the best artist in East African music.
This year Kisima
got immense sponsorship from Pulse, Nakumatt, IQ Marketing, Brand Kenya,
Standard Group, True Blaq, 3 Mice and Kenya Tourist Board among others.
