10 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Nigerian Duo P-square

@Kaphrayra
Here is a rare photo of P-Square's dad....
He attended the recent traditional wedding ceremony of his son Peter Okoye and Lola Omotayo.

And while at it, here are some 10 things you probably didn't know about the twins and their family.
1. The identical twins started their careers as part of a music and drama club at St Marumba Secondary school in Jos, Nigeria, where they began singing and dancing and miming songs by M.C. Hummer, Bobby Brown and Michael Jackson, among others.
2. They used to sing ACapella in a group known as “MMMPP” (M Clef a.k.a. Itemoh, Michael, Melvin, Peter and Paul).
3. In 1997 they decided to venture into dance and formed a dance group called Smooth Criminals, inspired by one of their musical heroes, Michael Jackson.
4. Both brothers studied Business Administration at the University of Abuja. They also reportedly attended music school to develop their skills on keyboard, drums, bass and rhythm guitar.
5. Their group has undergone several name changes in its history. They used to be called Double P then P&P and Da Pees before settling for P-Square.
6. They have produced five albums to date; Last Nite (2003), Get Squared (2005), Game Over (2007), Danger (2009), ,  The Invasion (2011) and Greatest Hits (compilation album which featured hit 'Alingo' May 2013).
Get Squared (2005) was the first album in many years to be publicly declared platinum in Nigeria.
7. The twins have 6 siblings; Ifeanyi, Henry, Jade,Lillian, Tony and Mary.
8. Peter has a son called Cameroon, who turned five on September 23, 2013. Peter’s Baby mama, long time girlfriend and now wife by tradition, Lola Omotayo, earlier this year gave birth to their second child.
9. Lola, was quoted once as saying that despite the fact that she had his child, she would not be disappointed if he did not marry her. “There is so much that completes a woman and marriage is not it. I've never focused on that. I'm not afraid to be alone. I pray I am not going to end up alone for the rest of my life, I want a life partner. But the tag, marriage is not something I think is the ultimate.”
10. Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye, their elder brother is also their producer and video director. Jude is the CEO of Square Records Limited and Northside Entertainment Limited which take care of P-Square’s business dealings, along with that of several other artists. In July last year, in the midst of grieving his mother who died on July 11, Jude donated 1 million Nairas (Approx US$6 300) to namesake Ibezim Jude Osemeke for the latter’s brain tumour operation.
