RIHANNA heads out for some retail therapy - as she enters into a public war of words with comedian Joan Rivers over her declaration of love for violent ex Chris Brown.

The 24-year old singer told TV host Oprah Winfrey - in a TV interview aired last Sunday - that she will probably always love the R&B singer, despite feeling "angry, hurt and betrayed" after he beat her up in February 2009.
Responding to the interview, outspoken Joan Rivers tweeted a joke about domestic violence, which has been blasted by users of the social networking site.
She said: "Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it's MY turn to slap her."
The We Found Love singer told the chat show queen : "We have maintained a very close friendship ever since the restraining order was dropped. We built a trust again and that's it.
